Discontent is authored by Connie Gilbert Rust, MBA, LCSW, a Houston-born, Providence-based advocate and person with lived disability experience whose work lives at the intersection of empathy and action. Sparked by the loss of her older sister, Alex, in 2013, Connie's experience spans government, nonprofit, healthcare, and education while bringing warmth, humor, and an unwavering commitment to progress to everything she does.
